Maybe I should polish up on my reading comprehension... By the way you were spot on about Elite taking good care of everyone. i am Mark Getto's coach and have had guys fight for a bunch of events over the years and these guys were great, First class operation on the fighters end... I think Eddie is going to be a great pick up on their end. I have always thought the Kid had that star quality

Sam I understand what you are saying but contracts can be a huge hurdle to a up and coming event, putting option clauses in the original single fight contracts can tie a young fighter up for a year or more without fighting. For the money many of these fighters are making most managers would be unwilling to sign the deals the way they are being structured. This was a roadblock early on this card. One of the biggest things Elite XC has going for it if it is going to compete with the UFC is not having prohibitive contracts. With Dana White making statements like I own Randy Couture do to the oppressive nature of these contracts eventually they are going to be ruled a violation of the Boxing act
